Are all men created equal?

I think all men are created equal, but not all men are treated equal. Some men and women are considered anomalies because of the color of their skin, and others feel estranged because of their sexual preferences. In this society, you don't "fit in" unless you're "normal". What is normal? The meaning of "normal" to one person could mean something different to another person. What is equality? The definition of the word equality is "the state or quality of being equal". To go more in depth, my opinion of the word equality means to be treated the same. For example, someone should not have to emulate other people to fit in. Most people who do not consider everyone equal are narcissists. Some feel the need to sully the happiness of the enigmas of the world. No one should ever feel incongruous. If you take away money, material items, sexual preferences, morals and thoughts, and shed the skin on our bodies, everyone is made of the same thing: bones. In my opinion, everyone should be their own person, and being yourself should be enough to "fit in".
